Commissioner Pos. #1 - Rod Keppler
	Mr. Rod Keppler has served as a Commissioner of the Silver Lake Water & Sewer District for the last 30 years. He presently serves as Secretary of the Board of Commissioners. He has helped the District meet the challenges presented by extraordinary growth and increased state and federal regulations. Working with fellow Commissioners he has guided District staff to increase staffing levels and update existing facilities and construct new facilities to insure excellent levels of service to District customers while maintaining the District's competitive water and sewer rates. Rod and his wife, Marylou, moved to the Silver Lake area in 1966 and raised two children and now enjoy 5 grandchildren.
Commissioner Pos. #2 - Bill Anderson
	Mr. Bill Anderson served as a Commissioner of the Fircrest Sewer District from 1978 to 1980 when it merged with the Silver Lake Water District. He has been a Commissioner of the Silver Lake Water & Sewer District from 1987 to today. His current term expires in 2009. Mr. Anderson has a wealth of experience in the water and sewer industry. His career includes 32 years with the Snohomish County Public Utility District Water Department, rising to the position of Water System Facilities General Manager. Mr. Anderson was an elected board member of the Washington State Water/Wastewater Association and served as President of that State Association in 1995. He was instrumental in and led the Committee to merge the two state water and sewer associations to form the Washington Association of Water and Sewer Districts. Mr. Anderson and his wife Carol have two children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Commissioner Pos. #3 - Anne Backstrom
	Anne grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School, and enjoys giving back to the community. She has held administrative and managerial positions in her career and for the last seven years has been employed by Olympic View Water & Sewer District. Anne was elected to serve as Commissioner of the District and took office in January 2006. She presently serves as the President of the Board of Commissioners. Anne is also Vice Chair of the Customer Service Committee of the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association. She actively attends Washington Association of Water and Sewer District meetings as well as the District's Board of Commissioner meetings. She hopes to serve on future committees. Music is one of her many loves and she's involved with a band who performs jazz and older pop songs. Her children are very involved in music as well. Both attend Cascade High School where her son is in the marching band. Her daughter is a pianist who also joins Anne as a vocalist with her band. Anne has been a Silver Lake Water & Sewer District customer since 2000 and has always considered Snohomish County her home.
