Conservation Advisory due to Regional Chlorine Shortage

The District obtains its water supply from the City of Everett. Water utilities across the region, including Everett, are dealing with a disruption in the supply of a chemical used to disinfect drinking water. A manufacturer of sodium hypochlorite (chlorine), a key chemical used in our water treatment process, has experienced an equipment failure, which has temporarily halted production.

Your water is safe to drink and at this time only an Advisory has been issued. Customers are simply asked to use water wisely.
